About Year 3000
Year 3000 is a now-and-future thumbnail for prediction, future-tech, city and transport explainer channels. Today sits on one half of the cover and the far future on the other, a fat arrow between and a year tag on each side. Viewers compare what they know with what might come, and want to know how we get there.
Use it for any video that asks where things are heading. Type a title of up to 22 characters and set the now and future tags, up to 6 characters each, as years or short labels. Both scenes are drawn for you, with no photo, and the split reads even with words off. Year 3000 comes in 16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
Tip: when the video is a serious forecast, choose a year people can picture, such as 2050 rather than 3000; save the far years for fun.
