About Versus

Versus is for comparison channels, product reviewers and which-is-better videos, from phones to frying pans. The frame splits in two, one thing on each side, a hard line down the middle and a badge where they meet. It's the clearest way to say 'comparison' on a small screen, and viewers pick a winner before they click the thumbnail.

Use it when the video tests two options against each other and names one. Write a title of up to 30 characters naming the matchup or the question. Both sides are generated from your topic, so no photo is needed. Turn words off and the layout adapts, leaving the two sides and the badge to make the point. It works in 16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.

Tip: keep the winner off the cover; 'Which one lasts?' gives people a reason to watch to the end.
