About Portal
Portal is for short filmmakers, fantasy storytellers, prank channels and gamers whose plot jumps somewhere unexpected. A glowing hole tears open in an ordinary room, light and wind pouring through. The everyday setting is what works: something impossible has arrived somewhere familiar, and the viewer wants to know what lies on the other side.
Use it for a twist, a cliffhanger or a gaming moment that opens a new world. The title takes up to 22 characters, ideally a question or a hint of where the door leads. Your photo is optional and places you in the room as it opens, and the no-words option keeps the thumbnail clean. The door opens in 16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
Tip: keep the destination secret; 'Where does it go?' beats naming what is behind the door.
