About Look Closer
Look Closer is for mystery channels, true-story narrators, science explainers, travel vloggers and spot-the-difference videos. It is a wide, quiet picture with one tiny detail circled in red pencil. Nothing shouts, and that calm makes people lean in, because the thumbnail asks them to find something the video will explain.
Use it when the whole video turns on a detail most people would miss. Write a title of up to 40 characters that points at the detail without giving it away. This template doesn't use your photo; the scene is generated around your topic. Choose no words and the layout adapts, leaving the red circle to talk. Available in 16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
Tip: ask about the detail, never describe it: 'Did you spot it?' works; 'The hidden door' spoils the find.
