About First Contact
First Contact is for sci-fi storytellers, alien-theory and space channels, mystery videos and short films. A colossal alien craft hangs in the sky over one tiny figure, and the difference in size makes the moment feel huge and quiet at once. It is a cinematic thumbnail that makes viewers ask what happens next.
Use it for arrivals, discoveries and the first episode of a story. Type a title of up to 22 characters and the scene is drawn around it. With a photo, which is optional, you can be the figure looking up. Switch words off for a pure, film-like frame. First Contact is made in both 16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
Tip: leave the title unfinished, like "It wasn't a plane…", so the craft in the sky completes the sentence for the viewer.
