About Correction
Correction is for myth-busters, money and personal finance channels, self-improvement creators and news commentators. It looks like a proofreader's slip: one word struck through in red pencil and the right one written straight after it. People love being told what they've been getting wrong, and a thumbnail that fixes the mistake in plain sight makes that promise at once.
Use it as a finance Shorts cover or a YouTube thumbnail whenever the video corrects a common belief. Write a title of up to 32 characters holding both the wrong word and its fix. A photo is optional, if you want yourself or the subject in the frame. The struck-through word is the idea, so it always keeps its words, in 16:9 for YouTube and 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
Tip: strike through the word your viewers would actually say: 'Saving' crossed out for 'Investing' lands harder than jargon.
