About Before / After
Before / After is for renovation channels, restorers, object makeover videos and editors showing what they did. Two states of one thing sit side by side: the before washed out and grey, the after in full colour. The contrast tells the whole story at a glance, and the viewer clicks to see how it got from one to the other.
Use it when the result is the reason to watch: a rusted bike restored, a room rebuilt. Write a title of up to 40 characters describing the change. Both states are generated from your topic, so no photo is used. Switch off words and the layout adapts, letting the two halves speak for themselves. The thumbnail comes in 16:9 for YouTube or 9:16 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok.
Tip: put a price or a time in the title, 'Rescued for $40', so the change has a scale people can feel.
